Fashion experts at UFO No More calculated that Princess Charlene of Monaco spent an incredible £655,574 on clothes in 2022.

By contrast, Kate Middleton only paid £192,636 for her wardrobe, whereas Meghan Markle's clothing was valued at a mere £94,796.

Other royal competitors were left in the dust by Charlene's large fashion budget; Princess Maria-Olympia of Greece and Denmark came in second with a spending of £201,761.

Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, came in at number four on the list, while Kate, the Princess of Wales, came in at number three.

While Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle continue to make waves in the fashion world for their sophisticated and refined looks, they were unable to match Charlene's spending power.

In contrast, Princess Beatrice managed to save the most money in terms of appearance, as her clothing and accessories in 2022 only totaled £77,348.
