Launched with the Most Odd-Looking Camera, Huawei Enjoy 70
The Enjoy 70, one of Huawei's most reasonably priced smartphones of the year, was unveiled in China. Its affordable price makes it stand out, but the main camera design on the back is also dubious-looking.
Despite not having an OLED panel, this device has a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD and, most notably, supports Always On Display (AOD). It has a tiny notch on the front that holds an 8MP camera. A 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP macro lens make up the dual camera setup on the back.
With an internal storage capacity of up to 256 GB, the Huawei Enjoy 70 is powered by HarmonyOS 4. VMall claims it has an octa-core processor, despite Huawei's official website not mentioning the processor or RAM. There have been rumors that the Kirin 710A SoC is included.
In addition, the Enjoy 70 features an Enjoy X button on the left frame and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. App switching is consistently fast with this button, which can be used to display frequently used apps with a single tap and launch them directly with a double-click or long press.
A powerful 6,000 mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging is what powers the Huawei Enjoy 70. There are three color options for it: white, black, and green. In China, the cost of the 128 GB model is $170, while the 256 GB version is $195.
The smartphone is currently available for preorder via VMall in China. Its release in other foreign markets is still unknown, though.
